In Plain Terms
- Cancel before work on a service starts and you get everything back, with no fee and no reason needed.
- Cancel after work starts and the refund depends on how far the work has gone: 75%, 50% or 25%, on the stage table in section 3.
- If we do not deliver what the service page promised, or miss the date without telling you first, the refund is 100%.
- Money goes back to the UPI account or method you paid from, typically 7 to 12 working days end to end.
This summary helps you find your way. The numbered sections below are the policy itself.
1. What this policy commits to
Every Sellveera service is a fixed piece of work at a fixed price, with its deliverables, timeline and requirements written on its page. That makes a refund a matter of arithmetic rather than negotiation. Two ideas run through everything below.
- You pay for work done, not for time reserved. Nothing has been earned before work starts, so cancel then and the full amount comes back. Once work has started, you pay for the part that exists and we return the rest.
- A failure to deliver is our cost, not yours. If what we hand over does not match the service page and cannot be put right, or a date passes without us warning you, you get the whole amount back.
A refund is not a remedy for a business outcome. We stand behind the deliverables, the standard of the work and the timeline on the page. We do not promise revenue, sign-ups, rankings or any other result that depends on things outside the work itself.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of India.
2. Cancelling before work starts
Full refund, no deduction, no explanation needed. Work on a service starts only once your payment is confirmed and we have received the items listed under “What we need from you” on its page. Until then, you can cancel for any reason.
- Write from the email address on the order and quote the order number, or reply to your order confirmation email.
- A cancellation is final once we confirm it in writing. If you have not had that confirmation, treat the order as live and write again.
- An order that was never paid simply lapses after 7 days. You do not need to do anything.
- Realising you picked the wrong service is a perfectly good reason. We would rather swap it for the right one than deliver something you do not need.
We may also cancel and refund in full ourselves, before work starts, where the service would not help you, where we cannot deliver it within the timeline shown, or where a listing or pricing error comes to light.
3. After work starts: the stages
Once work has started, the refund depends on how far that service had got when you asked us to stop. Percentages apply to the amount you actually paid for that service, GST included.
Whatever has been produced by the time you stop is handed over to you in its current state, with notes on where it stands. We never hold partly finished work back during a refund conversation.
If you are unsure which stage a service has reached, ask. The answer comes in writing, with the reason, before any refund is calculated.
4. Quick Answers and booked sessions
Services in Quick Answers & Second Opinions are short: a written reply, a review of an estimate or a bill, or a booked hour with a senior engineer. Their value is in the answer itself, so the rules are simpler.
- Written answers and reviews are fully refundable until the written reply is sent to you. Once it has been sent, the service is delivered and is not refundable.
- A booked session can be cancelled or moved more than 24 hours before its start for a full refund or a new slot, whichever you prefer.
- Cancel within 24 hours of a session, or miss it without telling us, and the session counts as delivered.
- If we need to move a session, you choose a new time or take a full refund.
Two things still hold after delivery. If an answer was plainly wrong, tell us and we will correct it at no charge. And if we decide before replying that your question needs a proper investigation rather than a short answer, we say so and refund you instead of sending something thin.
5. Services that run monthly
A few services, such as ongoing site care and looking after your software, begin with a short onboarding and then run month by month. Their pages say so in the timeline.
- Each purchase covers one month of service, counted from the end of onboarding. Nothing renews by itself, and there is no notice period.
- Cancel before onboarding is complete and the stage table in section 3 applies.
- Cancel partway through a month and we refund the days not yet served, calculated pro rata and rounded in your favour.
6. What counts as non-delivery
Non-delivery is not a matter of opinion, so here is the list. Any one of these gives you a full refund for that service.
- A deliverable named on the service page was never handed over, and we had not agreed a change with you in writing.
- The timeline passed with nothing handed over, and we had not warned you before the date.
- What we handed over does not materially do what the service page said, and the revision round did not put it right.
- The work cannot be used because we did not hand over the notes or access needed to use it.
- We stopped work partway and cannot resume within a reasonable time.
- You were charged for a service we then declined, or for an order that was never confirmed.
Non-delivery does not include a delay caused by waiting on something from your side, an outage or policy change at a third-party provider, or a deliverable that is present and working but is not what you had pictured. The first two pause the clock under our delivery policy. The third is a conversation about scope, covered in section 8.
7. The revision round comes first
Every service includes one revision round within 15 days of delivery, unless its page says otherwise. Where a deliverable is there but not right, that round is the first remedy and usually the fastest: a fix arrives in days, where a refund and a fresh purchase take weeks and leave you with nothing.
- Send the round as one consolidated list rather than a series of separate notes.
- A revision brings what was delivered into line with the service page. It is not a way to change the brief; new requirements are a separate piece of work, quoted before anything starts.
- If the revision round cannot bring the work into line with the service page, we refund in full under section 6 rather than argue about it.
Separately, a material defect in our work reported within 15 days of delivery is fixed at no charge under the terms of service.
8. When a refund does not apply
- The deliverables arrived as described, but the business or technical result was not what you had hoped for.
- Sales, sign-ups, speed, uptime or rankings did not move as far as you wanted. Those depend on decisions and markets outside the work.
- A third-party platform changed, withdrew, limited or suspended something after delivery.
- The delay came from access, files, approvals, test data or feedback we were waiting on from you.
- You changed direction, switched platforms or shelved the project after work had started. The stage table in section 3 still applies to anything not yet done.
- The work was changed by your team or another supplier after delivery and then stopped working.
- The request arrives more than 15 days after delivery, unless it concerns a payment error.
- Third-party costs you agreed to and paid directly, such as hosting, cloud usage, licences, subscriptions or paid quotas. These were never part of our price.
- Work was stopped because the acceptable use clause in our terms was breached.
9. How long a refund takes
- Refunds go back to the original payment method only, in Indian rupees, through our payment gateway partner. We cannot send a refund to a different account, because that is how payment fraud works.
- The refund includes the GST you paid, and a credit note is issued against the original invoice so your records reconcile.
- We send you the refund reference as soon as the refund is started. Please keep it.
- The last step is with the banks. If the money has not arrived 7 working days after we started the refund, send us the reference and we will follow it up with the gateway until it lands.
- We do not deduct any fee for processing a refund.
A working day is Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays in India.
10. How to ask for a refund
- Write from the email address on the order to info@sellveera.com.
- Quote your order number. It starts with SV and appears on your confirmation email and in your dashboard.
- Say in a line or two what went wrong, and attach anything that helps: the deliverable, a screenshot, the email thread or the date that slipped.
- Tell us what you would like: a fix, the revision round, a swap to a different service, or your money back.
You can also use the contact form, or open the order in your dashboard, which already shows the order number and payment reference. Orders placed as a guest appear there once you sign in with the same email address.
One person handles your request from acknowledgement to close, so you will not have to explain it twice.
11. Failed and duplicate payments
- A failed payment does not create a paid order and should leave nothing debited. If your bank has placed a temporary hold, it is normally released by the bank within 5 to 7 working days.
- Money debited, but the order still shows unpaid? After 48 hours, send us the order number and the UPI reference. We check with the gateway and either confirm the order or refund it in full, whichever you prefer.
- Charged twice for the same order? The duplicate is refunded in full as soon as it is identified, with no assessment. If we notice it first, we refund it and tell you.
- Paid for the wrong service and told us before work started? We swap it or refund it, your choice.
Please raise a payment problem with us before asking your bank for a chargeback. A chargeback freezes the order and usually takes much longer than we do.
12. Orders with several services
Each service in an order is assessed on its own stage. Cancelling one does not affect the others, and the refund is worked out only on the service being cancelled.
- Where a discount code applied to the whole order, it is shared across the services in proportion to their prices before any refund is calculated.
- Where you bought more than one of the same service, any unit not yet started is refunded in full, even if another unit is in progress.
- Credit notes are issued per service, matching the tax invoice.
13. If you disagree with our decision
Please escalate it. We would much rather look again at a decision than have you leave unhappy.
Write to our Grievance Officer, Shaik Aslam Basha and Chakali Naga Phani Kumar, at grievance@sellveera.com. You will receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours and a full response within 15 days.
If our final answer still does not satisfy you, the grievance page lists the outside bodies you can approach, including the National Consumer Helpline and the consumer commission for where you live.
