Releases done by hand break at the worst possible time, usually while the only person who can remember the sequence is on leave. Across up to three repositories we set up a CI/CD pipeline: checks and tests on each proposed change, container images built and labelled once merged, staging refreshed on its own, and live held behind a sign-off. Going back a version is one run. Keys move into tightly scoped environments, and runs are cached to finish inside ten minutes.
